THE WINTER WAR Start Date is Set: November 12

After consultation with the players, Iain (Jackson) and Greg (Lander) we have set the start of THE WINTER WAR simulation for November 12th. Once it gets started, updates will be posted on the blog, including summaries of engagements and an updated scoreboard at the completion of each day of the simulation.

The Campaign Theatre Guide has been updated with revised maps for Cumberland, Fort Van Meter, and Meadow Run. It is available on the Player Resources Page.

The Federal Order of Battle has been updated and is available. This week references were noted for the weapons used by the 1st West Virginia and 110th Pennsylvania. The 1st West Virginia appears to have been issued some old Springfield smoothbores from Massachusetts. The 110th Pennsylvania, like many of the regiments in Lander's Division, was issued Belgian Smoothbores. These changes were made to the order of battle files, which have been re-posted.

I also put all of the locality maps into a compressed folder using .rar compression. They are in .png format. Players may download individual maps as they need them, or just download all 41. They are available on the Player Resource page.
