Still Making Maps

As we wait for the Valley District to issue orders, I made a few maps over the weekend for some of the longer roads between localities. Most contact and engagement will take place on locality maps, but it is possible that opposing units may run into each other between two localities. I have made a few maps to use if that happens. Players will only have the screenshots and not much other information on these locations "somewhere between X and Y."

Here is a screenshot from one of my tests. You can see that it is on a road that runs parallel to one of the rivers.  The screenshot is of the 13th Indiana. The regiment served under Lander and then fought with Shields' Division a Kernstown. It was transferred to the Fourth Corps, Army of the Potomac in July 1862. It would go on to serve in the Seventh Corps, Tenth Corps, and Eighteenth Corps. It was involved in the Siege of Suffolk and Operations around Charleston (including Fort Wagner). It participated in the Siege of Petersburg and occupation of Bermuda Hundred, spent a brief time in Jacksonville Florida, and ended its service in North Carolina, where it was present at Johnston's surrender. That was a regiment that got around!
