| Federal troops (at least a brigade in strength) are visible on the Unger's Store Road, just north of the Rhodes Farm. Confederate cavalry has a skirmish line on the south side of the farm, supported by a reserve. A Confederate force of unknown composition and size is moving northward up the road from the Simms farm. |
