Day 5 - Getting Ready to Start

Day 5 of the campaign (January 18, 1862) will start with a few changes:

1. Green Spring Road / Moorefield Road - running south from Green Spring Depot through Springfield, Hanging Rocks and Romney - is now a turnpike (Moorefield and North Branch Turnpike.)

2. Two Contact Reports: Contact will take place in two phases - a morning phase and (late) afternoon phase. The morning phase contact reports will be at 11:00 a.m.   Afternoon contact reports will be time stamped 4:00 p.m., but will include any unit that would have reached the locality of contact by 6:00 p.m.

Day 5 is getting ready to start.  I have to put together the scenarios for the initial contact, but there will be contact at the following places at 11:00 a.m.:

- Mechanicsburg Gap
- Hanging Rock
- Three Churches
