The simulation is up and running again after the holiday break. After several days of Federal cavalry probing Confederate positions, Ashby's Cavalry has now taken the initiative and moved from the vicinity of Fort Van Meter, up through Romney and then to Hanging Rocks and Mechanicsburg Gap. The Ashby's Horsemen have enemy encountered infantry and artillery at both locations.
At Three Churches, a Federal force of infantry, artillery and cavalry has moved from Points Cross Roads and the Middle Fords to Three Churches and has encountered Confederate cavalry, artillery and infantry.
Contact reports have been issued. We now await the players decisions at each point of contact: Engage, Withdraw or Hold Position.
