Ford Secure - Day 2 - 3:00 p.m.

At 12:00 p.m. on Day 2 of the campaign, Confederate Cavalry made Contact with Federals at Taylor's Ford.  The Confederates were advancing along the Vance Road from Lowell's Cross Roads. They saw the enemy at R. Taylor, stopped, observed, and then turned around and went back to Lowell's Cross Roads. When contact was broken, they left Federals in control of the ford.
