Lander's first division headquarters was at Hancock, Maryland, where he arrived just in time to oppose Jackson. As Jackson abandoned his attempt to take Hancock, Lander surmised that he would move against Romney. Lander hurried to Romney, reached there before Jackson, and evacuated the garrison there. Lander then set-up his headquarters at Patterson Creek Depot, where he began to assemble his division. He later moved it to Paw Paw Tunnel, where he died in early March 1862.
In the TWWI simulation, Lander didn't spend much time in Patterson Creek Depot at all and quickly moved to set-up headquarters in Springfield. There was no action at Patterson Creek Depot during the simulation.
I was looking at the final campaign map and realized that I needed to revise the Patterson Creek Depot map. I labeled the mini map to show Frankfort Ford. Frankfort Ford is labeled on the campaign map, but it is located on the Patterson Creek map, rather than a separate locality. I also labeled a road exiting off of the north of the map, which will lead to Flintstone, MD. Since I was re-issuing the map as BOW_Patterson_Creek_Depot2, I added a little more detail work. The map is ready for download.
